YOUR BEST!
Nominations for the 2003 awards are now closed We're looking for the special, the unique, the bizarre, the wonderful, the BEST that your school has to offer for Florida Leader’s 14th annual "Best of Florida Schools" issue! This much-anticipated annual issue showcases public universities, private colleges, and community colleges across the state. Please complete the form below to nominate yourself for an annual category, or create your own! On-line applications must be received by December 6, 2002. Please include activities from the spring, summer, and fall semesters of 2002. It can be BIG or small, but it can't be mundane! Florida Leader wants to hear about your Greek organizations, your yearbook, your residence life experience, and your homecoming theme, or tell us if yours is the best-looking campus. These annual categories highlight the big things that set your school a step above the others in the state. WARNING: The competition in these categories is fierce! All supporting materials (pictures, programs, letters, awards, etc.) must be postmarked by December 6, 2002.
(NOTE: Due to the volume of applications, materials will NOT be returned.) Just as important to Florida Leader are the little things: the cool new club, the great student-run craft show, the neat hats given out to new students, the president who dresses up like the Easter Bunny for the local hospital every spring. Create the category and send it in using the application below or go on-line at www.floridaleader.com. We'd love to see pictures, so be sure to send them. REMEMBER: We're glad that your grounds crew put in new bushes and the computer lab has been upgraded, but the general categories are about the things that make your campus special. If you need inspiration, check out these examples from last year: Category: "Best Horror Film Class" Category: "Best Toilet Paper" Category: "Best Athletic Action"
